Revelation 1:12-13, & 20
12 When I turned to see who was speaking to me, I saw seven gold lampstands. 13 And standing in the middle of the lampstands was the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest. 20 This is the meaning of the-seven stars you saw in my right hand and the seven gold lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

When Jesus told us He was the light of the world, what He was saying was that there isn’t any light outside of Him. This world would not have light or righteousness without Christ in the world. While He walked on the earth, He was the Light, but when He left, He sent the Holy Spirit to live in us and then we became the Light of the world with Christ living in us. The seven candle sticks represent the Church and Christ stands in the middle of the Church. This means we get our light from Him and apart from Him, there is no light. We have nothing of ourselves to give light, we are like a world without a sun and until Christ comes into us and lives in us, we have no light. How much of you is living in you and how much of Christ is in you. How much light you give out to those around you will answer the question. Go to the only source of Light and become a bigger flame!

Have a God Day!
