A recent poll in Newsweek stated that 84% of people polled believe God can work miracles and 64% believe they have had one. As followers of Jesus Christ we should be leading the world with belief in miracles. And we know that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, so why are we not seeing more miracles? There are 3 barriers to the miracle you need in your life.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

Jesus was always telling us to, “Fear not.” He tells us not to fear poverty because God will supply all of our needs according to His riches, we are not to fear sickness for He is the Great Physician. We are not to fear death, because Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. We are not to fear our past, because God’s grace has removed sin covered by the Blood of the Lamb as far as the east is from the west. We are not to fear the future. We may not know what the future holds, but we know Who holds the future. Fear Not!

1 Samuel 15:22
“And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.”
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

Even in the presence of truth, stubborn people will not change their minds, because their thoughts and opinions are more important to them than the Word of God. They do not believe in anything outside of themselves. It is really a matter of pride. God sees this as idolatry and a stubborn, prideful person will never experience the miracles of God.

James 1:6-8
6 But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 They can’t make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do.
Holy Bible, New Living Translation, (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.) 1996.

We are continually told in the Bible to, “have faith in God.” Doubt is like a cancer and can destroy your faith in God. Do not entertain your doubts but feed your faith instead with the promises of God in His Word. Instead of saying to yourself, “it won’t happen,” say, “it will happen.” Instead of saying to yourself, “I can’t, I can’t do it,” say, “I can, I can do it,” You will be amazed at the difference. God does not want you in a state of confusion and fear of the future. Lay every fear at His feet and surrender it to Him who holds your future in His hand! There is nothing He cannot do and will not do for those who trust Him!

Have a God Day!
