Hebrews 10:23-25
23 Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Think of ways to encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.

There is no life in Christ outside of His Body.  As a child of God, we were not made to be His outside of His Body.  Therefore we must be connected to Him through the Body.  Just as a hand or a foot can not live without being attached to our human body, so we can’t live in Christ without being a part of the Body of Christ.  Saying you are in Christ, but not having any Christian connection means you are walking alone.  Christ never intended this.  We are to help and strengthen one another and this can only be done by connection.  Who do you spend the most time with, those in Christ or those outside of Him?  If you are spending more time with those not attached to Him, then you will struggle and will not grow.  Do not neglect getting together with, developing friendships with, and supporting those who are in Christ.  Outside of Him there is no life.  And if you are not connected to a body of believers, then you are outside of Him.  Matthew 6:21 states, “Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.”  What friends are your treasure?  Are they in Christ?  If not then you are spending too much time outside of Him and you will struggle in your walk with Christ.  Those outside of Christ will pull you away from Him.  So do not neglect your connection to those in Christ.  Find a body of believers who love the Lord and spend time with them in worship.  You find a big difference in your walk with Christ and in your struggle against your “old nature.”

Have a God Day!
