Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of highest privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us-they help us learn to endure. 4 And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation. 5 And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

For those who have been made right in the sight of God by faith, there is peace because of what Jesus Christ has done for us. We have confident joy as we look forward to sharing His glory. Because of this, we can have peace when we go through trials and have problems. We know that every situation is God filtered and that problems are used by God to draw us to Him and to strengthen us. In order for us to become more like Jesus Christ, we need to focus our attention on Him and learn His ways. Sometimes the cares of this world get in our way and God turns us back to Him. There isn’t one trail we go through that Jesus Christ does not understand. He suffered immensely when He was here on earth, so we know that He understands our pain. God uses our trouble to teach us to trust Him. He did not cause it, but He can use it for our good. So when you are in the valley, remember that fruit only grows here and not on the mountain top.

Have a God Day!
