Hebrews 4:12-16
12 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. Christ Is Our High Priest 14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

The Word of God is living and sharper than a two-edged sword. This means it can cut through a wicked heart faster and quicker than our words. When dealing with the un-saved, we must use the Word of God like the tool it was meant to be. It is living because once spoken and heard, it will accomplish the purpose it was set out to do. God’s Word is true and He gave us these Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.(BIBLE) But how do we receive grace, God’s unmerited favor when we are not righteous? God cannot go against His own Word and cannot come to us when we are not righteous, so how do we receive His grace? And can we ever become righteous on our own? The Bible tells us that no one is righteous, all have gone their own way to sin. There is nothing we have done, said or thought that we can hide from God. And we must stand before Him and explain it to Him. But that is why we must go to Christ and confess our sins and He will be faithful and forgive us. We can then approach the throne of God boldly being completely righteous, but only because of the Blood of
Christ covering us. When God looks at us, He will see us through the righteousness of Christ, because we have accepted Him and made Him Lord of our live. And we can lay our requests before Christ, because He knows how it is to be tempted, as He was tempted in every way just as we are, and yet Christ did not sin. If you do not have the honor of coming before the throne of God today, get on your knees and acknowledge Him as Lord, confess you sins before Christ and He will set you free from the power of sin and death and make you His child with all of the rights and privileges that encompasses. But you have to do it, you have to come to Him and bend a knee, make a public confess that you were lost and needed the grace that Christ died to give you. Do it today, do it now!

Have a God Day!
