Philippians 4:18-19
18 At the moment I have all I need-more than I need! I am generously supplied with the gifts you sent me with Epaphroditus. They are a sweet-smelling sacrifice that is acceptable to God and pleases him. 19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. 20 Now glory be to God our Father forever and ever. Amen.

As a children of Christ, we can trust that He will meet our need.  We must remember, however, what is a need and what is a want.  God will not supply all of our wants or our desires, if they do not further His work.  But we need food, water, and shelter to live, these God will supply.  It may not always be what we want, but it will be what we need.  By trusting in Christ, our attitudes and appetites can change from wanting everything to accepting His provision and power in our lives to live for Him.  Remember God’s final plan for our lives is to further His work, and to be His hand extended to those around us.  If our wants are within His plan, He will meet them.  Focus on what is His desire for your life and not on what you think is best.  When we surrender to His will, we will want His will.  When we know Him, we will want what He wants.  Knowing Him, will change us into a vessel for His love to flow to those around us.  And we will see what needs to be done.  We will see the work He has called us to and this will change our attitude and our desires.

Have a God Day!
