Psalm 99:5

Exalt the Lord our God, And worship at His footstool- He is holy.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

Psalm 100
Make a joyful Shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

Only the life lived in the light of God’s Word will be lived wisely. For this reason, our study of the Bible must constantly be accompanied by our petition before God to give us wisdom and understanding when we study His Word. We ask for wisdom to learn to live in a way that pleases Him and not ourselves. This is maturity. We do the things we know we need to do, even though we do not feel like doing it. Too many adults today have not learned this concept and only do what feels good to them, pleasing only themselves. Too many forget that God made us and too many have made God into what serves their needs. God is God and we cannot change Him through our ignorance of Who He really is. He sets the rules, He tells us how we are to live and not the other way around. Ask God to teach you and lead you in performing His will. Daily ask God to open your heart and mind through the power of the Holy Spirit to show you who He really is.

Have a God Day!
