Ephesians 3:16-19
16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength through his Holy Spirit. 17 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

No matter how good we are, God could love us no more.  And no matter how bad we are, He could love us no less.  This is the heart of our relationship with God the Father through Christ Jesus.  God loves us!  It was because of His love for us that Christ came.  It was because of His love for us that He endured the torture of the cross.  Every person ever born can know the love of God, if they chose.  It is not withheld from any.  It is always there and nothing can ever separate us from it.  It is the power of this love that propels us to become His image to the world.  It is not us imitating Christ but Christ actually in us. Pope John Paul ll stated, “We are not the sum of our weakness and failures; we are the sum of the Father’s love for us and our capacity to become the image of his Son.”  Let the world see the love of God through you as you grow to understand it.  You be His expression of love to those who need it.

Have a God Day!
