Acts 17:27-31
27 “His purpose in all of this was that the nations should seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him-though he is not far from anyone of us. 28 For in him we live and move and exist. As one of your own poets says, ‘We are his offspring.’ 29 And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone. 30 God overlooked people’s former ignorance about these things, but now he commands everyone everywhere to turn away from idols and turn to him. 31 For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.”

Only because of God do we exist. In God we have our being. Without Him we have nothing. Even the air we breathe is from Him.  Without God’s providence no one would have life. Too many do not realize this and as God has told us, “He has set a day for judging the world.” That day will come and all those who did not receive the gift of salvation through Christ Jesus will stand before Him and will be judged for their sins against Him. Those of us who do recognize and have received salvation will not stand before Him for judgment of sin. Although, we will have to go before Him and give an explanation of we used the gifts He gave us, it is not a judgment of our sin. Christ took that judgment for us and only because of Him will we be saved from it. This is why Christians can have peace in this world of problems because we know Who holds the future and Who give us existence. It is Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior and He is the Lover of our soul.

Have a God Day!
