1 Corinthians 1:26-30
26 Remember, dear brothers and sisters, that few of you were wise in the world’s eyes, or powerful, or wealthy when God called you. 27 Instead, God deliberately chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose those who are powerless to shame those who are powerful. 28 God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important, 29 so that no one can ever boast in the presence of God. 30 God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus. For our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. He is the one who made us acceptable to God. He made us pure and holy, and he gave himself to purchase our freedom.

Some people like to give emphasis to the prominent who have accepted Christ like the entertainment greats, the leaders in industry, and the prominent in government. But God majors in average people. He is calling the simple minded to have His righteousness. Those considered to be the least will be considered great in His kingdom. He has made His plan of salvation so simple that the “wise” of this world would think it too simple to be true. They spend so much time trying to be “wise” that they become utter fools by missing the only thing that matters in this life, Christ Jesus.  That is why no one can boast of being a Christian because it is not anything we are or do, but because of His love for us. Christ is our wisdom and the wisdom of the world. Unfortunately the world will not recognize it until it is too late. One day at the name of Jesus every knee will bow. Bow before Him today because you are grateful for His love for you. It is true wisdom to give to Jesus honor and glory and thanks. It is wisdom from above and not anything from ourselves. So praise Him and worship Him for He alone is God.

Have a God Day!
