Hebrews 10:19-23
19 And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heavens Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. 20 This is the new, life-giving way that Christ has opened up for us through the sacred curtain, by means of his death for us. 21 And since we have a great High Priest who rules over God’s people, 22 let us go right into the presence of God, with true hearts fully trusting him. For our evil consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water. 23 Without wavering, let us hold tightly to the hope we say we have, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.

Matthew 27:50-53
50 Then Jesus shouted out again, and he gave up his spirit. 51 At that moment the curtain in the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart, 52 and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead 53 after Jesus’ resurrection. They left the cemetery, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people.

Prior to Christ’s death on the cross, no one could enter into the Holy of Holies. This was the place in the Temple that the Lord would dwell. Once a year a priest was sent in to offer a sacrifice to God for his sins and the sins of the people. He had to go through a long cleansing ritual and could not have any sin when he went in. The other priests would tie a rope around his middle, in case he did have sin. Because if he did, when he entered into the Holy of Holies he was struck dead, and they could just pull him out. You could not stand in the presence of God with sin. But when Jesus died for us this curtain was supernaturally torn in two. This indicates that now anyone could enter into the Holy of Holies because of what Jesus has done. Jesus is our High Priest and we can enter right into the presence of God when we are under His Blood. Are you taking advantage of this? Enter in right now and go before the Father and dwell in His love for you. While you are there, thank Him for what He has done for you.

Have a God Day!
