35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death? 36 (Even the Scriptures say, For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. 39 Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It was one of those moments when God spoke to my heart very clearly. I was thanking Him and praising Him for so richly blessing me. I do not understand why I have so much and why others go to bed hungry or are taken from their beds and murdered. I always give God the glory and thank him for His goodness and know that all I have belongs to Him. At the moment, I was willing to give it all up to be with Him in heaven. No matter what we enjoy in this world, it will not compare to the wonder and joy that He has in store for those of us who love Him as Savior when we leave this world. His voice spoke softly and told me that He was with me now. I do not have to wait to be in heaven to be with Him. The Spirit of the Lord told me that I was right where He wanted me to be and always would be. I was to trust Him and do the work He has given me, no matter where I am, there will be work to do for Him. With hot tears streaming down my face I heard, “My love will carry you through anything I ask you to do!” Praise God, His love will bring me through any joy or pain I will go through, while doing the work set before me. His love is our strength now and will be when we are with Him in heaven. It will be with us through our darkest moments and through our greatest joys. There isn’t a person on the earth that will not go through the valleys of pain this life has to offer. Some more than others and some will never know joy in their lives. For those of us who have known joy, we need to thank God for His goodness and know that when we return to the valley, the fruit of his Spirit will grow in us if we trust and believe Him.
Have a God Day!
