John 1:1-14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Incarnation was the act of the pre-existent Son of God voluntarily assuming a human body and human nature.  Without ceasing to be God, He became a human being, He became the Man called Jesus.  He did not give up His deity to become human, but He set aside the right to His glory and power.  In submission to the Father’s will, Christ limited His power and His knowledge.  Jesus of Nazareth was subject to place, time and many other human limitations. What made His humanity unique was His freedom from sin.  In His full humanity, Jesus showed everything about God’s character that can be conveyed in human terms.  And every miracle Christ did was under the direction of the Father and with the power of the Holy Spirit.  He had a full measure of the Holy Spirit working through Him as a human.

The deity of Christ is the point that every cult will focus on.  If an organization does not acknowledge the deity of Christ, they are outside of Him.  Look to this point before you belive anything anyone tells you.  If Christ was not fully God and fully human, He could not have died for our sins and there would be no reconciliation with God. He had to be fully human to die and He had to be fully God to be without sin. Jesus stated in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”  There is no other way to God except through Christ and all those outside of the grace of Christ will perish eternally.  We did not make the rules, God did and it is not for humans to decide what works and what does not.  God is our answer and only through Him will we be saved from our sins.  Don’t believe anything outside of Christ for the truth.  And look to what the Word of God states.  Put your trust in Him through His Word.

Have a God Day!
