1 John 5:14,15
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked for.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

Do you have confidence that God hears your prayers? Is your faith in Him mature, or are you using prayer as an attempt to get God to do what you want? There are no spiritual shortcuts or formulas to guarantee a yes to any request you ask of God. But we can have the confidence that God hears all of our prayers and that He will answer all of them. Sometimes He says no. If you watch parents today and look at how most are dealing with their children, too many will not say no to their child. If they do, most children will keep asking until they get what they want. God does not work that way. His no means no. Like small children, we can not see all of the circumstances around a situation, and He may have something bigger and better than what we have asked for. We are completely blind to all the possibilities and must trust Him to know what is best for us. That means you have to completely surrender your will to His. We give up our rights to anything and submit to Him in everything. Pray with confidence that God hears you, but listen when He says no and then trust what He has for you instead.

Have a God Day!
