John 14:26, 27
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all the things I said to you. Peace, I leave with you, My peace I give to you, not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be trouble neither let it be afraid.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version, (Nashville, Tennessee: Thomas Nelson, Inc.) 1982.

We have the promise from Christ Himself that He would send a Helper to us after He left this world. The third Person of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit. The Father sent Him to the Church after Christ ascended to heaven after His death and resurrection. It is the Holy Spirit working in your life; that drew you to Christ and brought His saving grace to your knowledge. After salvation, the Holy Spirit continues to work in our lives in a more defined basis. It is His job to teach us as we read the scriptures and the Spirit imprints the Word in our minds and brings it to remembrance when we need it. Jesus told us this to give us peace, His peace. We are never alone, the Holy Spirit is always working on our behalf, teaching and guiding us. When you read the Word, pray and ask for God’s spirit to teach you as you read. Call on the Spirit to bring the Word to remembrance when you need it.

Have a God Day!
