Mark 1:21-28 21
Jesus and his companions went to the town of Capernaum, and every Sabbath day he went into the synagogue and taught the people 22 They were amazed at his teaching, for he taught as one who had real authority-quite unlike the teachers of religious law. 23 A man possessed by an evil spirit was in the synagogue, 24 and he began shouting, “Why are you bothering us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are-the Holy One sent from God!” 25 Jesus cut him short. “Be silent! Come out of the man.” 26 At that, the evil spirit screamed and threw the man into a convulsion, but then he left him. 27 Amazement gripped the audience, and they began to discuss what had happened. “What sort of new teaching is this?” they asked excitedly. “It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!” 28 The news of what he had done spread quickly through that entire area of Galilee.

Jesus did many miracles during His ministry here on earth. The wind and waves and demons obeyed Him instantly. Is it so difficult to believe that He is the Son of God with all the miracles we can read about?  We need to not only realize this truth about Jesus, but transfer it into our own lives. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He never changes. As He worked back then, He will work today. We must not only believe these miracles really occurred; we must also transfer that truth into our own lives. We do not serve a Savior who can not meet our needs. Because of what we know about Him, we can trust that He will meet our needs. What demons are tormenting you today? What lies from the enemy are you believing? As Christ rebuked the demon in this man, so you are to rebuke the lies that bind you. Through the power that resurrected Christ from the dead, refuse to allow the enemy to bind you.  Let the truth penetrate your mind and live in your heart. You are a child of the King and He has set you free.

Have a God Day!
