John 14:27-29
27 “I am leaving you with a gift, peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn’t like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid. 28 Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really love me, you will be very happy for me, because now I can go to the Father, who is greater than I am. 29 I have told you these things before they happen so that you will believe when they do happen.

Before Jesus left this world, He gave us all a precious gift.  Besides salvation which is the greatest gift of all, He gave us peace of mind and heart.  For those who do not have this, it is only because it has not been accepted.  There is not a situation this world can bring that can take away the peace that Jesus Christ gives us.  What is troubling you today?  What has taken your peace away?  The world today is a very turbulent place to live.  The wars overseas burden heavily on all of us. With what is happening, we all are feeling a little uneasy, but we need to keep in focus what is belongs to us through Christ Jesus.  God has told us He is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow.  This includes His love for us, it does not ever change.  We can have peace of heart and mind even in the world we live in because we have His Word.  It takes faith and trusting, but peace can be yours because it is a gift from God.  Take that step of faith and lay your fears on the altar before God and give Him your worries.  Then trust that He will work all things out for your good because you love Him.  Don’t let another moment go by with the weight of your worries heavy on your mind, turn them over to Jesus and trust in Him to see you through.  Let them go and let God take care of your needs.

Have a God Day!
