Good Morning!

John 14:1-6
1 Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know. 5 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

There are few verses in Scripture that describe eternal life as clearly as Jesus does here. He tells us that he is going to prepare a place for us and that we will be with him. What words of comfort! Our Lord is preparing a place for all those who believe in Him. We may not know all the details of what eternity will hold for us but we do know that we will with Him. 2 Corinthians 5:8, tells us, “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” We will forever be with Christ Jesus when we leave this world. As a part of the Church, we are objects of His affections. Christians will be wed (united) with Christ and we will celebrate with Him forever. Remember this when the details of this life are difficult to understand. So many times we have no understanding of the pain we all experience but we do know it is only for a season and that someday, we will be with our Lord forever!

Have a God Day!
