Hebrews 10:14-17
14 For by that one offering he perfected forever all those whom he is making holy. 15 And the Holy Spirit also testifies hat this is so. First he says, 16 This is the new covenant I will make with my people on that day, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their hearts so they will understand them, and I will write them on their minds so they will obey them.” 17 Then he adds, “I will never again remember their sins and lawless deeds.” Holy Bible, New Living Translation, (Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House Publishers, Inc.) 1996.

Those in Christ have been made perfect, yet we are being made holy. Through His death and resurrection, Christ, once for all made those who believe in Him perfect in God’s sight. At the same time, He is making us holy. We are progressively cleansed and are set apart for His special use in our daily walk on earth. We should not be surprised that we all still need to grow. God is not finished with us yet, we are in the process of being made holy yet we are perfect in Christ. And while we are being made holy, God will remember our sins no more. Even though we still sin, God will not remember our sins and lawless deeds, once confessed and laid at the cross of Christ. He has put His law into our hearts and into our minds so we will obey Him. Christ says to us all, “Go and sin no more.” (John 8:11) Forgiven, we can continue to live for Him and continue our process of being made holy. The growth process happens by deliberately applying Scripture to all areas of our life. We are His forever and are perfect in God’s sight. Praise Him, as you walk in His love in perfect peace knowing that all things will work for your good because you love Him and are in the process of being made holy! (Romans 8:28)

Have a God Day!
